These are what I consider to currently be the “best” high-end restaurants in the area — whether because they’ve received certain awards, have a distinguished local chef, or otherwise admirably represent Colorado.
I’d love for these to stay “hidden” a little while longer, but these restaurants deserve the recognition. These are all my favorite lesser-known restaurants — mostly small, mom-and-pop spots with lots of international flavors.
For those of you that like trying the latest spots, I’ve done the research and tried all the new spots, so here are what I consider the best of the restaurant openings from 2023 and 2024.
I absolutely love a good happy hour, and in my many years in Denver, I’d like to think I’ve tried a majority of the options downtown, so here are my top picks (updated for 2024)!
